The Alcatel ASM 180 TD Helium Leak Detector is a self contained portable helium leak detector unit. The 180 TD is a dry leak detector, equipped with a high capacity, oil-free frictionless dry pump combined with a molecular dry pump for contamination free ultra-clean applications.. It can detect leaks into the minus twelve range. The 180 TD series provides automatic operation of LDS or Long Distance Sniffer mode, gross leak test mode and fine leak test mode. It’s available with or without a cart.
The Alcatel ASM 180 TD can be used to test small or large volume pieces under vacuum or it can be used in sniffing mode. High sensitivity minimum detectable leak is 2 x 10-11 .
