The Pfeiffer ASM 142 S sniffer leak detector is a mobile leak detector designed for locating small leaks quickly and accurately.  It is easy to operate with a rugged design suited for use in harsh environments.  The ASM 142 S has a sniffer probe with a 5 meter tube length and a minimum detectable leak rate for helium of 1 · 10^-8.

The ASM 142 S is the ideal leak detector for industrial control of under pressure parts.  It is built to handle demanding applications and intensive use.   This leak detection unit provides status messages by voice synthesizer and a hand held sniffing remote control.
